Concept projectItalian fine dining
Website concept for an
Italian restaurant
A design by Kulimo for an Italian fine dining restaurant in Berlin: lemon branches on a dark background and an ornate crest give the house a face, the menu is a real web page rather than a PDF, and table reservation fits on a smartphone.

Starting point
The menu belongs
on the website.
Many restaurants keep their menu as a PDF: hard to read on a smartphone, tedious to update and invisible to search engines. Especially in fine dining, where menu and season change often, that costs guests.
The design turns the menu into a page of its own with categories such as carne and pasta, prices and food photos. A lemon motif and a crest set the frame, and reservation with a calendar is just one tap away. In the concept the menu can also be opened via a QR code at the table.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website for a restaurant cost?
The investment depends on the scope: size of the menu, imagery and reservation. Kulimo develops custom concepts and gives you a clear budget range in the intro call.
Why not a menu as a PDF?
A PDF is hard to read on a smartphone, tedious to update and barely visible to search engines. In the design the menu is a web page of its own with categories and prices.
What does good table booking look like on a smartphone?
Short and in one step: day, time and party size. In the design the form including the calendar fits on one screen.
What is a concept project at Kulimo?
