Starting point

A showroom,
not a stock grid.

Anyone looking for a luxury car expects the same calm online as in the showroom: space, light and someone who takes their time. Stock lists with small thumbnails convey little of that.

The design therefore stages every car on its own on a dark green stage, uses gold only for accents and buttons, and leads into the “Welt des Luxus” with one line. In the concept vehicle pages with equipment and history and a test drive request follow.

  • One car, one stage

Every car stands alone in the image, without a grid and without competition.

  • Gold only as an accent

Gold marks key words, the logo and buttons, nothing else.

  • Calm navigation

Four menu items and an emblem in the centre keep the header tidy.

  • Request a test drive

In the concept every vehicle page leads to a test drive request.

The solution

One design,
three jobs.

Each layer answers a question buyers of luxury cars ask.

  • Stage the cars

A dark green background with a reflection makes the car look as if it stood in a showroom.

    Effect

    The showroom starts online

  • Build trust

A white band names experience, trust and service as the promise of the house.

    Effect

    Attitude before the first conversation

  • Trigger an appointment

Gold buttons in the hero and the header lead to the enquiry.

    Effect

    Enquiry in one click

Fine-tuning

Details that carry
the design.

The character of the page comes from a few elements that are repeated consistently.

  • Deep green

A dark bottle green replaces the usual black and gives the page warmth.

  • Golden words

“Unvergleichlichen” and “Prestige” are set in gold in the headline.

  • Elegant serifs

A fine serif carries headlines and navigation.

  • Emblem in the centre

A gold emblem sits centred in the header.

  • Outlined buttons

Buttons are slim and outlined in gold instead of filled.

  • White band

Below the hero a white band breaks the green and leads into the content.

Process

From idea to
finished design.

In four steps, with one clear question per phase.

  1. Phase 01

    UI/UX strategy

The starting point was the atmosphere of a showroom: calm, space and one car at the centre.

  2. Phase 02

    Colour and imagery

Deep green, gold as an accent and a car with a reflection on a dark background.

  3. Phase 03

    Interface design

Fine serifs, a centred emblem, outlined buttons and a white band as a transition.

  4. Phase 04

    Responsive layouts

The same showroom on desktop, laptop and tablet, with car and headline on the first screen.

Scope of work

What the concept
includes.

A design for the website of a luxury showroom – from the staging to the layout for three devices.

  • UX concept and page structure
  • Interface design in green and gold
  • Hero with car and headline
  • Band “Welt des Luxus”
  • Vehicle pages as individual staging
  • Test drive request
  • Layout for desktop, laptop & tablet

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website for a luxury showroom cost?

The investment depends on the scope: vehicle stock, imagery, vehicle pages and enquiry paths. Kulimo develops custom concepts and gives you a clear budget range in the intro call.

Why show each car on its own?

Because luxury cars are bought as individual pieces. A stage of its own for every car conveys value that a stock list cannot.

Which colours suit a luxury car dealer?

Calm, deep tones with a single accent. The design uses bottle green and gold instead of the usual black.
