Restaurant web design in Berlin: websites that get guests to book a table.
From Google search result to a set table — in three clicks.
KULIMO builds websites for restaurants, cafés, bars, and caterers: with reservations, a digital menu, online ordering, event inquiries, and the kind of Google visibility that means guests in your neighborhood actually find you. Built for smartphones, fast even on a weak signal, accessible, and GDPR-compliant — at a fixed price from €1,270. References from Berlin: Die Stulle and Das Catering.

The guest journey
Your guests decide on their phones: hungry and in a hurry.
Every second of load time costs you a reservation.
The typical path: a Google search for “restaurant + neighborhood” or “catering Berlin,” a look at the reviews and photos on the Google profile, a click through to the website — and then three questions in ten seconds: What’s on the menu? What does it cost? Can I book now? If you don’t answer any one of them right away, you lose the guest to the next result.
Find
A Google Business Profile with category, opening hours, photos, menu, and reviews, linked to a website built around “restaurant Berlin + cuisine + neighborhood.”
Convince
The menu as text (not a PDF), real photos, prices, atmosphere, directions, opening hours — all within reach on the first screen.
Act
Book, order, call, buy a gift card, or request catering — one tap, no sign-up, no detours.

Features
What a restaurant website needs to do today
Reservations
Integration with your reservation system or a custom form with confirmation — prominent, mobile, no sign-up. Table times, groups, occasions.
The menu as text
Dishes, prices, allergens, and notes as real content: readable, searchable, understood by Google, and changed in minutes. PDF menus cost you guests and rankings.
Online ordering & pickup
Your own ordering system instead of platform commissions: pickup, delivery, pre-orders, payment — with your brand, your data, your regulars.
Catering & event inquiries
An inquiry form with date, number of guests, occasion, and budget range, plus menu suggestions and reference events, so inquiries arrive complete and qualified.
Gift cards & offers
Online gift card sales, seasonal menus, lunch specials, events — easy to update and visible at the right moment.
Photos & Instagram
Real food and interior photos, an embedded Instagram feed, short videos from the kitchen. In hospitality, authenticity makes a stronger impression than any staged shoot.
Google Business & local SEO
Setting up and maintaining your profile, collecting reviews, and structured data (restaurant, opening hours, menu) on the website, so you show up in the Local Pack.
Multilingual
German and English for Berlin locals and tourists, with a proper language structure instead of machine translation.
Accessibility & GDPR
Contrast, font sizes, and keyboard navigation to WCAG 2.1 AA (BFSG, Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act, in force since 2025), GDPR-compliant reservation and order forms, hosting in Germany.

Hospitality websites we’ve built

Die Stulle – café, Berlin-Charlottenburg
Website for a breakfast and lunch café on Savignyplatz: view the menu, book a table, request catering — large photos, mobile-first.

Das Catering – event catering, Berlin
Website for event catering in Berlin: services, occasions, reference events, and an inquiry flow that brings in qualified inquiries.
Our portfolio also includes concept work for restaurants and food businesses: a reservation system, a café website, an Asian fusion restaurant with a 3D menu, and an artisan gourmet food brand. We label these explicitly as concepts, so you know what is a client project and what is a study. We have also developed a restaurant management app for businesses that want to organize reservations, staff, and orders digitally.

Google & local
Land in the Local Pack — not on page two
For “restaurant Prenzlauer Berg” or “catering Berlin corporate event,” Google first shows a map with three listings. There, reviews, photos, categories, and how up to date you are make the difference, along with the website behind them. Here’s how we bring the two together:
- Google Business Profile: the right categories, menu, attributes, opening hours including holidays, weekly photos and posts.
- Reviews as a routine: a QR code on the bill, a link in the order confirmation, a friendly ask as guests leave — and a reply to every review.
- Structured data: restaurant, opening hours, cuisine, price range, menu, reservation link — machine-readable on the website.
- One page per occasion: breakfast, lunch specials, brunch, corporate events, wedding catering — for the searches your guests actually type.
- Consistent data: name, address, phone number, and opening hours identical everywhere: website, Google, delivery platforms, social media.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about restaurant web design
How much does a restaurant website from KULIMO cost?
Websites start at €1,270 at a fixed price, with menu, reservations, photos, directions, and opening hours. An ordering system, gift cards, multiple languages, or an events section increase the scope; we give you the price in writing after the free intro call.
Can we keep using our reservation system?
Yes. We integrate your existing system, prominently and optimized for mobile. If you don’t have one, you get a form with confirmation or a recommendation for a system that fits the size of your business and your budget.
Why not a PDF menu?
PDFs load slowly, are hard to read on a phone, are barely understood by Google, and are tedious to change. A text menu on your website can be updated in minutes, is accessible and visible — and can also be used as a QR menu at the table.
Is our own ordering system worth it compared to delivery platforms?
For businesses with regular pickup or delivery orders, usually yes: no commission per order, your own customer data, your own brand. Platforms still make sense as an additional channel. We run the numbers with your figures in the intro call.
How long does it take?
A landing page in seven days, a restaurant website in two to eight weeks, a QR menu from one day. The launch date is set in the quote — ideally before the season starts or before your opening.
Do we need professional photos?
Real photos, yes; professionally staged ones, not necessarily. In hospitality, authentic shots from the kitchen and dining room often make a stronger impression. We give you tips for good smartphone photos and, on request, help produce photos, a 360° tour, and videos.
Can we update the menu ourselves?
Yes. You change dishes, prices, daily specials, and opening hours yourself, even from your phone. Training is part of the handover. On request, we take over care and maintenance for a fixed monthly price.
What does a Google Business Profile do for us?
For restaurants and cafés, it’s often more important than the website itself: it determines whether you appear in the Local Pack with a map and reviews. We set it up, link it to your website, and show you a routine for reviews and posts.
Does our website have to be accessible?
If you offer online reservations, orders, or gift cards to consumers, you may fall under the BFSG (Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act) since June 28, 2025. Regardless, we build to WCAG 2.1 AA — easy-to-read menus and usable forms help every guest.
What sets KULIMO apart in restaurant web design?
We have built Berlin hospitality websites (Die Stulle, Das Catering), developed a restaurant management app, and offer mini services such as a QR menu and a 360° tour at fixed prices. Add to that a fixed price, a fixed date, Google visibility as part of the project, and a studio in Berlin that comes to you.
