How much does a website cost?A fixed quote before we start.

The price comes down to four things: page types, the state of your content, features and how custom the design is. After the free 15-minute intro call you receive a written fixed quote.

01

The situation

You’ve collected several quotes and the range is huge – or all you find online are flat rates that say nothing about your project. What’s actually included stays unclear: copy? Photos? Multiple languages? Maintenance?

Typical sign: without a clearly described scope, quotes are hard to compare – and whatever is missing turns up mid-project as a change request.

02

Our solution

We don’t bill by the hour; we work to a fixed price based on scope. In the intro call we go through the four cost drivers: the number of page types (not the total number of pages), the state of your content, features beyond presentation – such as a shop, booking, member area, multiple languages or CRM and newsletter integration – and how custom the design should be. A relaunch adds the migration with redirect mapping.

You then receive a written fixed quote with scope, stages and go-live date – no hidden items. For business websites, payment in milestones is possible.

Process & details

Six steps – the fixed quote comes after the first:

  1. 01Analysis & advice
  2. 02Concept & structure
  3. 03UI design
  4. 04Development
  5. 05Testing & launch
  6. 06Support & growth

Flat prices without clarified requirements wouldn’t be honest – so the figure comes in the fixed quote. Useful for the intro call: the link to your current website, the features and languages you need, and whether copy and photos already exist. On a small scope we start with your most-visited page and expand from there.

Frequently asked questions

  • How much does a website cost?

It depends on four factors: the number of page types, the state of your content, the features and how custom the design is. After the free intro call you receive a written fixed quote with no hidden items.

  • How much does a web designer charge per hour?

We don’t bill by the hour; we work to a fixed price based on scope. That way you know before the project starts what the website costs and when it goes live.

  • What are the monthly costs of a website?

Ongoing costs are hosting and – if you want it – maintenance. We offer updates, backups and monitoring at a fixed monthly price; hosting is with German partners such as IONOS, Strato, All-Inkl or Hetzner.

  • Why don’t you quote a flat price?

Because a flat rate without clarified requirements isn’t honest. Two websites with the same number of pages can differ a lot in content, features and design – the fixed quote reflects your project.

  • What if my budget is small?

Start with the page most visitors land on – often a service page rather than the homepage. The first stage is already built on the final technical base, and we expand from there.
