Starting point

Three needs,
one calm entry.

Anyone interested in a yacht comes with one of three needs: buy, charter or have their own yacht managed. All three expect calm, discretion and a quick path to the right contact.

The design combines both: a large, calm sea image with just one sentence, and below it three icons leading straight to sales, charter and management. Phone and language switch sit in the header, and a magazine rounds off the offer.

  • One calm image

A motor yacht on the open sea fills the whole screen.

  • A single sentence

“Entdecken Sie eine Welt voller Möglichkeiten” is the only text in the image.

  • Three paths in the hero

Buy, charter and manage sit as icons along the bottom.

  • Phone in the header

Phone number and language switch sit at the top right.

The solution

One design,
three jobs.

Each layer answers a question prospects have for a yacht company.

  • Separate the needs

Sales, charter and management have their own menu items and entry points in the hero.

    Effect

    Everyone finds their path

  • Convey calm

Deep blue sea, plenty of space and light capitals instead of loud advertising.

    Effect

    Discretion from the first image

  • Make contact easy

Phone in the header, contact in the menu and a magazine for those who want to read first.

    Effect

    A conversation without detours

Fine-tuning

Details that carry
the design.

The character of the page comes from a few elements that are repeated consistently.

  • Deep blue sea

The sea fills the screen; the yacht sits small on the right.

  • Light capitals

The headline is set in light, widely spaced capitals over three lines.

  • Three icons

Anchor, compass and arrow stand for buying, chartering and managing.

  • White header

A narrow white bar carries the navigation in small capitals.

  • Language switch with a flag

A small flag at the top right shows the selected language.

  • Magazine in the menu

A magazine section gives room for stories about yachts and cruising areas.

Process

From idea to
finished design.

In four steps, with one clear question per phase.

  1. Phase 01

    UI/UX strategy

The starting point was the three needs of visitors: buy, charter, have managed.

  2. Phase 02

    Image idea

A calm sea image with a yacht that leaves room instead of showing off.

  3. Phase 03

    Interface design

Light capitals, a white header, three icons and plenty of blue.

  4. Phase 04

    Responsive layouts

The same entry on desktop, laptop and tablet, with headline and three paths on the first screen.

Scope of work

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website for a yacht company cost?

The investment depends on the scope: number of pages, yacht listings, magazine and languages. Kulimo develops custom concepts and gives you a clear budget range in the intro call.

How do you bring sales, charter and management together on one website?

With three clearly separate paths on the first screen and a section of its own for each need. In the design they sit as three icons along the bottom of the hero.

Why so little text in the hero?

Because people in the yacht world expect calm and discretion. One image and one sentence create atmosphere; the details follow in the sections behind.
