The situation
Your web designer stopped replying, the agency closed or went bust – and nobody quite knows where the website is hosted, who has the logins or whether there’s a backup. A small text change suddenly becomes a problem.
Typical trigger: your host warns about an outdated PHP version, a form stops working or the SSL certificate is about to expire – and there’s nobody who feels responsible.
Our solution
First we check whether the existing base is worth keeping. If the technology, structure and content hold up, targeted rework costs less than a relaunch – then we take over maintenance, including a tidy-up: removing unused plugins, catching up on updates, sorting out logins.
If the base can’t be saved, we plan a relaunch with a redirect table so your rankings and enquiries survive the move – also from website builders, Webflow, Joomla or TYPO3. Whatever we set up new belongs to you, including all files and logins.

My web designer can’t be reached – what should I do?
Gather all logins and documents you have and send us your domain. In the free website check we find out what state the website is in and what makes sense next.
Who owns my domain?
That depends on who it’s registered to – we can’t give a legal assessment. In projects with KULIMO the website belongs to you, including all files and logins, and the hosting contract is in your name.
Do you optimise websites not built by KULIMO?

How do I make sure this doesn’t happen again?
