The situation
Your company website has grown over the years: many pages, several editorial teams, a CMS nobody likes touching any more. A relaunch has to get past marketing, IT and management – and mustn’t cost rankings or enquiries.
Typical requirements: clear sign-offs per phase, a test environment before launch, a predictable go-live, payment in stages and someone who keeps watching after launch instead of saying goodbye.
Our solution
We run the relaunch in seven phases, each ending with your sign-off. The inventory uses Search Console, a URL inventory and backlinks; the redirect table is the most important document and is fully tested before launch. On large websites we often work in stages – technology and templates first, then content.
Development happens on a staging environment with noindex, and there’s a preview and approval before launch. After go-live we watch Search Console, crawl errors, rankings and conversions for four weeks, followed by a review after three months. On larger projects you pay in milestones. Honestly: we’re an owner-led studio of boutique size with fixed contacts – not a corporate service provider.
Website relaunch in detailProcess & details
Seven phases, each with your sign-off:
- 01Inventory
- 02Strategy & structure
- 03Design & UX
- 04Technology & development
- 05Content migration
- 06Launch QA & go-live
- 07Monitoring & fine-tuning
We review content page by page: anything without value is merged or removed – with a redirect. We only recommend switching CMS for clear reasons; we can also migrate from TYPO3. Go-live on the agreed date, ideally not on a Friday. Afterwards we can look after several installations under one contract, with a contact in German and English.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find an agency for an enterprise website relaunch?
Look for a fixed process with sign-offs, a tested redirect table, staging before launch and monitoring afterwards. Ask about size and contacts too: KULIMO is an owner-led studio of boutique size with fixed contacts.
How long does a corporate relaunch take?
Two to eight weeks. On large websites we often work in stages – technology and templates first, then content. We fix the go-live date in the quote.
Will we lose rankings in the relaunch?
With a clean implementation, complete redirect mapping and monitoring, lasting losses are avoidable. Short-term fluctuations are normal – nobody can honestly guarantee rankings.
Do you have references with large enterprises?
We don’t have a published enterprise reference. You can see our projects in our portfolio: client projects such as the construction and facility services website for MD Betosave sit alongside clearly labelled concept projects. In the call we also show you the process: sign-off per phase, redirect table, staging and monitoring.
Can we pay in stages?
Yes. On larger projects you pay in milestones set out in the fixed quote.
