Situation · Not mobile-friendly · Berlin & Germany-wide

Your website struggles on phones. We design it mobile first.

We walk the path to an enquiry on a smartphone and fix what gets in the way: buttons that are too small, jumping layouts, forms you can’t use. A refresh without a new structure takes days to two weeks.

01

The situation

On a smartphone visitors have to zoom, text runs off the edge, the menu barely opens and the phone number can’t be tapped. On desktop everything looks fine – so nobody in-house notices for a long time.

Often there’s an old theme behind it that was never built for small screens, or a layout that jumps while loading so people tap the wrong thing. And it’s exactly on the go that prospects decide whether to call or keep searching.

02

Our solution

First we check whether targeted fixes are enough: in the audit we follow the path from the entry page to the form on a smartphone, measure load time and stability on mobile connections and look for thumb-friendly buttons, tappable phone numbers and layouts that don’t jump.

If the foundation can’t be saved, we redesign – UI design in Figma, mobile first, with two revision rounds. A refresh with new visuals and copy on the same structure and URLs takes days to two weeks, a redesign three to six weeks. If URLs change, we move them with a redirect table.

Questions from search

Frequently asked questions

  • My website isn’t mobile-optimised – what should I do?

First find out where it breaks: navigation, font sizes, buttons, forms, load time. Some things can be fixed in a targeted way; if the old theme was never built for small screens, a refresh or redesign makes more sense.

  • Can I have an existing website made responsive?

Yes. A refresh with new visuals and copy on the same structure and URLs takes days to two weeks; a redesign with new design and UX takes three to six weeks.

  • Do I need a whole new website for that?

Not necessarily. Targeted fixes often achieve a lot; the audit shows whether optimisation or a relaunch makes more sense.

  • Will I lose my Google rankings in the switch?

In a refresh, structure and URLs stay the same. If they change, every old URL with rankings or backlinks gets a 301 redirect, and we monitor the site for four weeks after launch.

  • What does “mobile first” mean?

We design for the smartphone first and then extend to larger screens – not the other way round. That way buttons, phone numbers and forms are built for thumbs from the start.
